Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ultimate Pick’ems? Ultimate Pick’ems is an interactive sports platform where fans can compete against each other with their chosen team lineup vs all other lineups in a chosen league. Whether you are playing in a private league with friends or joining a global contest, our goal is to provide a seamless and competitive experience. Example: A Home Run league where every participant creates a 1 or more entries and choses 10 players as their team they believe will surpass all other competitors in the league for top score per month and annually to win ‘awards.’ How do I join an open league? Once you have created an account and logged in, you can navigate to the "Leagues" tab. From there, you can search for public leagues to join or enter a unique invite code provided by a league commissioner to join a private group. Can I create my own league? Yes, you can generate your own league, choose sport, available rosters, and then send out private invites for your friends & family to compete against each other. Is there a cost to play? Yes, there is a fee to Create Your Own League: $__ As far as being a participant, it is up to the ‘Commissioner’ (organizer) of the League as to the fee as we do not collect nor disburse winnings. We will however, provide Rankings per month (or time blocks depending on sport) so a commissioner can determine rewards. When is the deadline to submit my picks? Standard league rules dictate you have until the day before the sports season starts to enter or update entries. In the future we hope to allow commissioners the ability to set custom locks (such as locking the season at different times, etc.). Can I change my picks after I’ve submitted them? Yes, you can edit your picks as many times as you like until the designated lock time for that specific game or weekly slate. Once a game has started or the deadline has passed, picks are final and cannot be altered. How is the scoring calculated? Scoring for each league may vary depending on the ‘stat’ chosen to compete against others within the league. Typically, it’s a normal scoring by ‘points (values)’ ordered from high to low.
